QUINTE ANTIQUE TRACTOR CLUB
OCT., 15, 2020 FALL NEWSLETTER
We the Executive would like to keep our members informed of what has happened over the last few months. The Executive will carry on the business that needs to be done. As of now there are no meetings for the remainder of the year, and we are sorry to tell you that the Christmas Dinner and Dance has been cancelled.
The Club did have a very successful Plow Day Sept 16, 2020, hosted by Bob and George Burkitt. This was a great way for many friends to get together during this time of covid-19. We had 75 people attend for a barbeque and fellowship, and about 16 tractors for the plow. Since school was still up in the air we even had a couple of Brian McFaul’s grandsons plowing. They made Grandpa very proud. It is great to see the tradition continue. Thanks to the Burkitts for hosting the event.
Our Sympathy goes out to Steven French and family for the passing of his mother, and to Brian McFaul and family for the passing of his mother.
If you know of any member that has been in hospital or has health issues please let me Harry Tackaberry know so we can send best wishes. 613-475-0957
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for a new 2021 with no health issues and we can meet again.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Until we meet again stay safe.
